Arbaeen Husayni, as one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, represents unity, love, and the solidarity of millions. In this ritual, the role of the three elements of "Imam, pilgrim (Zair), and servant (Khadim)" holds a special significance. This article investigates the role of these three key elements in the ceremony and analyzes their civilizational implications. The purpose of this research is to extend and develop the culture of the Arbaeen pilgrimage through a civilizational lens. Utilizing an analytical-inferential method, this study aims to present an analysis of the epic of roles in the Arbaeen pilgrimage and evaluate them from a civilizational standpoint. The research findings indicate that the Arbaeen epic, as a global and religious event, provides a unique opportunity to redefine and transform the social identities of individuals. The subject of roles in Arbaeen demonstrates that the capacity to transform roles and identities is not exclusive to Arbaeen; rather, it can be repeated and replicated under different conditions, times, and locations. What makes Arbaeen a remarkable civilizational phenomenon is precisely these roles, which have generated a massive social epic. If organizations view their relationship with clients through the exact same dynamic of servant and pilgrim, many of the bottlenecks within the administrative system will be resolved.
