This research aims to investigate the intervening factors of social security from the perspective of the Holy Quran by analyzing Quranic verses and extracting relevant concepts. The research methodology is analytical-interpretive and qualitative content analysis. Within this framework, intervening factors are categorized into four main groups: cultural and mental, social and communicative, religious and divine, and structural and migratory factors. The research results indicate the key and prominent role of factors such as piety (Taqwa), justice, fulfillment of covenants, and Divine Will in the formation of social security. Conversely, factors such as rumor-mongering, prejudice, and obstinacy can undermine social security. Furthermore, the role of Divine Will is emphasized as a pivotal factor in the shaping of social security. Unlike Western theories, such as the Copenhagen School, which primarily emphasize external and structural factors, this study is grounded in religious foundations and ethical values. The findings of this research can serve as a basis for future studies aimed at indigenizing social security theories based on religious teachings.
