‘Mother-Child attachment’ is a sustained emotional bond that has prenatal formation fields and peaks in the initial years of life. Human personality and social relationships are deeply influenced by his attachment quality in his childhood. “Social capital” also concentrates on human social relationships as intangible assets of the societies and endures and strengthens the relations, cooperation and interactions in different aspects of the society. Therefore, the attachment quality and type can strengthen or weaken the social capital. It is tried in this article to survey the influence of “secure attachment” on social capital quality by emphasizing on Emam Mosa Sadr´s educational thoughts. Paying attention to Emam Mosa Sadr´s educational thoughts clarifies that he, besides insisting on the necessity of the formation of emotional bond in the family, encourages mother or the “attachment symbol” to try her utmost to strengthen this relationship. The production of this “emotional bond” is a firm relationship between generations. Referring to original religious doctrines and sources, he called mother the prominent symbol of “vajhollah” on the earth who bathe child in grace and affection by sacrificing her body and soul. On the basis of this theory, it can be said that by forming “secure attachment” in childhood, a faithful and liable human, who can produce enormous social capital, will be trained.
