One of the concerns of the social sciences is to analyze the issue of social change with regard to the social order and scholars are trying to present models for the social development. After the Islamic revolution of Iran, Sociologists, public administrators, and general policy makers wondered if the Islamic Revolution of Iran has a new model for the social development and growth in accordance with its ideals, or it uses other societies’ models.The idea of Islamic-Iranian progression pattern proposed by Iran’s supreme leader, brought about a good opportunity for scientific conventions to take a more serious look at it. In this article first the theories and schools of development are mentioned. Next, Imam Khomeini’s viewpoint about the Islamic-Iranian development pattern titled as Islamic civilization orientation is investigated and the objectives, policies, and the main strategies of this model are extracted from his statements. Finally, the effects of the Islamic civilization orientation design on the Iranian-Islamic model are anticipated
