Abstract

Jurisprudence has a significant impact on human social life as it encompasses the principles of how to live. While the Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah serve as the foundation of Muslim social orders, the question remains as to how social jurisprudence was reflected during the presence of the Ahl al-Bayt. To address this issue, this study examines the historical review of social jurisprudence during the period of Ahl al-Bayt's presence. The findings reveal that hadiths prepared by the Messenger of God were disseminated in the community and later, Ahl al-Bayt made a serious effort to produce content and chapter them under the title of Bab al-Ashrah or other jurisprudential chapters. They also paid special attention to examining the social situation of the society and focused on socializing people, thereby making them aware of social jurisprudence. Their strategy aimed to prevent harm while acquiring spirituality in performing actions. As a result of these strategies, a unique lifestyle and social effects were realized in the life of Shiites. For instance, linguistic social symbols such as Hay Ali Khair al-Aml and even their daily lives were influenced by jurisprudence. This research employed a historical research method and data-based studies to explore the relationship between jurisprudence and its effect on the social life of Shiites. The study's contribution lies in its historical analysis of social jurisprudence during the period of the Ahl al-Bayt's presence, highlighting the impact of their strategies on the social life of Shiites. This research provides insights into the role of social jurisprudence in shaping social norms and values, which remain relevant to contemporary society.
