Formulation of the Appropriate Media Components of the Islamic Revolution from the Point of View of the Leaders and Top Documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

One of the important needs of all the active media in the Islamic Republic of Iran in the path of progress and excellence of the society is to know the performance requirements of the media in the discourse system of the Islamic Revolution, an important part of which is rooted in the top documents and the views of the high policymakers. Based on this, the present research has studied these documents and statements of the leaders of the Islamic system with the aim of discovering and formulating the appropriate media components of the revolution. The study and analysis of documents and statements related to media and culture was done based on Volcott's three-stage content analysis method, and the sampling was of the "theoretical sampling" type. The data was organized in the form of 13 central themes as the basis of normative propositions. Finally, a more profound examination of the themes taken showed that the view of the leaders of the revolution and the top documents of Iran in the field of media, at least in the four general axes of missions, dos and don'ts of content, dos and don'ts of form, and management structure and manpower are planned and have relationship with each other. Its following components are included in different levels and topics (in normative sources) which can not only be considered as a guide for the performance of organizations and media activists, but also have the ability to be used in the field of evaluation.
