Abstract

The family is the most important institution in the growth and prosperity of society. Paying attention to this institution and examining its management strategies is effective in the development of individual and social personality of people and the health of society. The emergence of different thoughts such as feminism has changed attitudes in the structure and management of the family as well as the occurrence of various disorders in this institution in some societies. The current study seeks to mention the managerial functions of religion in the family according to Qur’anic verses and compare it with feminism. The finding of this study indicates that the Holy Qur’an, according to its comprehensive view, in order to regulate family affairs, has introduced moral management without domination over family members with specific powers and duties and has determined the duties of each family member. However, feminism has caused disorders in the family and society, by raising the issue of equality in the family and ignoring the talents of individuals. Considering the instructions of religion can be effective in organizing the family, the health, and management of the family and society.
