Abstract

Metaphors and myths are the categories that are more interested in literature, linguistics or semiotics, and less attention has been paid to their role in the formation of social issues or in the image of problem solving strategies. The "layered analysis model of causes" is a model that emphasizes the role of metaphors and myths in the formation of phenomena and social issues, and considers them to be in the deepest layers of causes and effective in the upper layers (litany, social causes, discursive causes). This research, which is based on the model of layered analysis of causes, seeks to explain the role of metaphors and myths in the formation of the insight problems of religious missionaries. The current research was conducted based on library study and reflective theme analysis method, and as a result, two issues of insight were extracted as the main theme, and based on interviews with preachers of religious institutions or the author's personal experiences, its causal aspects were analyzed, and as a result, 7 factors were identified. Metaphorical and 5 mythological factors related to religious missionaries' insight issues have been identified and appropriate strategies have been pointed out.
